Linear servomotors are suitable for highly dynamic and powerful linear axes, It can travel long travel with high speeds, Whenever speed and longer movement matters in an application, the best choice would be the linear motors.
In such applications like Micro Molding Machine, it gets more important to move fast to very accurate position to take a part which might be some millimetre long and take it out in a cycle of a second.
Such a application would need to reach the speed of more than 6m/s and should stop with accuracy of micro meter, this achievement would not be so easy to catch with belts or any other combination of rotary servos.
